well i did manage to locate fast tracker 2 for pc same thing there. I of course use skale tracker for the pc (the best ft2 clone) and the sound simply dont have the same hot feeling as with the amiga.
Its quite weird realy i also find the sound more detailed than what the pc is able too do.
Why?!?!?! i use both the Delfina card and paula with and without AHI the sound is the same crispy detailed sound.
while on the pc sound the mods some times getts messed upp not sounding right even missing channels.And i am using quality mod trackers for pc as well?!? :-?
well most people would say you have probbably got some hardware\software issues on your pc, wich is totaly wrong since i have tried 7 different soundcards 3 different oses and 5 different x86 based mashines.
Could it be that our new 2ghz cpus+ is to fast to do the job right while skipping frames etc ?!?!
anny ideas please let me know.
ohh and btw the hifi i use is A HI END system with thease components HEGEL H1 HEGEL H2 NORDOST RED DAWN and System audio EXPLORROR speakers all ultra hi quality components, whith this sayed i find the best sound quality comming from the good old amiga hardware funny come to think about the super good sound cards we get on the pc to day
