WHD load is actually really easy, just download, unpack and install.
Once that is done, surf to whdownload.com find a game, download, unpack and run it.
And register WHD load, its worth it.
Slightly over-simplified, that'll get you 50% of the way there, but you forgot to mention the most complex part, setting up the kickstarts. You need all the Amiga common kickstart roms in devs:kickstarts/ and they need to be named specifically. Amiga Forever now ships with the ROMs all set up and named in this way so you can just copy them over, or there are alternative ways of sourcing them, but I'd be in for a TORRENT of abuse for suggesting them

You may also want a nice front-end for WHDLoad so you don't have to browse drawers and drawers of icons. I like IGame, it's simple, small and runs from Workbench.
