You may want to double check what you have if Lecta's advice doesn't work for you.

This is a SAM440ep, right?

Are you really trying to help or is it just feinted interest so you can point and laugh safely from afar again?

To me this is eerily reminiscent of the installation issues that users have had with OS4 on the A1 series, except now there is no variance in hardware (theoretically) to explain things away.

Check your Sam440ep manual:
"SATA ports: J20 (Hard Disk), J23 (DVD/CD), J21, J22"

It is in there but maybe not as obvious as it could be.
