do you have the NEWEST OS4 release - there's been several updates, and YES they all make a big difference.
The amiga meeting I attend have a beta tester so we get to see the OS develop nearly right in front of our eyes. (on a monthy basis, of course  :lol:  )

just last friday I had a look and plugged my USB flash drive and, removed it, plugged it back in, and it worked just dandy.
