Not even an ordinary webpage update can they do in a normal time frame. It has been 17 days now since this message appeared on their homepage...
have you ever made or redone a web site?

Well, I have created - from scratch - several web sites and in one case tried to rebuild one that already existed.
I can tell you it's harder to to rebuild. and that's because you have to first figure out what the heck is going on - and that takes time - and then you have to remove things carefully so as not to break too many links at once.
you have to figure out what your new layout is going to be and where certain things (that may not exist yet) can be placed.
you have to take down bricks and in some cases weight baring walls without having the entire building falling down on your head. if you think this is a process that's easy or done quickly, go ahead and try it.
how about letting the guy doing this just be allowed some peace and quiet. obviously, the person rebuilding the site is NOT the "head" of the company. he's just doing a job on the site. he may be doing other jobs as well. who knows? you don't know.
why rip into him? are you paying his salery? do you know the schedule for this job?
i'll bet not.
all i'm saying is that maybe it's time some people enter the real world and stop whining like little babies.
what the "amiga comunity" needs is for all of us to do what WE can to make things good - and enjoyable. look not to some company or a company web site - but to YOURSELF.
to pharaphrase JFK:
"Ask not what your company can do for you...ask what can YOU do for your community!"
