It would have to be a major get together for me to drive 2+ hours. Otherwise I'd prefer to fly out to a west coast show. 
I hope you can get enough interest to make an East Coast meeting happen, but also hope you consider doing both, and book a flight to Sacramento in October.
Edit: 2 hours is nothing, I drive 7 to 8 hours each time I go to an AmiWest Show, but hopefully not this year, as I am looking to move to within 1 to 2 hours drive from Sacramento before the show happens this Oct.
