@ some cynical ones: there have been a few questions about the suspicious nature of the bidder Lastikbandz pushing the price up on that DKB3128 board. Well, there's nothing suspicious about it, Lastikbandz doesn't know the seller or the winner. If you read the original thread you'll figure out who Lastikbandz is ;)

@ AmiNTT : if you wanna sell that DKB 3128 and you want a good price, PM me first, I still have a soft spot for that board, just not $600 if you follow my drift.

Well, gents, the saga of the DKB board continues:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5117511924&category=4598

Guess what: it seems the buyer got cold feet!!!
Well at $620 I don't blame the dude, and although I badly wanted that DKB board, its too late now. I have found one that someone here is willing to sell  :-P

What a shame for the seller. I wonder if he has a claim against the guy that seems to have pulled out?
The message I got from Ebay said 'the transaction with the winner did not go ahead OR the seller is offering another identical item'

Now what's the likelihood that he had two DKBs of the same spec?

Funny thing is, before it got so high, I really wanted that board. I might have emailed the dude and offered him an instant buy if I thought the winner wasn't going to pay, but that would have happened long before the $630 mark.
I have offered somebody here a reasonable amount for their DKB instead (before the Ebay sale was deemed void).
Its bad luck for the Ebay deal all round. In fact I was a bit crazy bidding on it to make it go so high.

@ TjLaZer:

Thanks for the offer my mate, but I am buying AmiNTT's  :-)

However, if a PIV comes up I'll give you a very good price on that, so think of me first buddy

@ Boing Boss

Depends how badly you want the memory on the Miggy. Will buying an A3000T solve my memory problem with my Amiga raytracing? No. I also can't genlock AGA animations to tape with an A3000T can I?
And as for the PC...it isn't even an option, especially as I have one already.
Its not just any Zorro card. It represents the only way I can add another 128mb to my A4000T. Unless you can tell me another way.

Boing Boss is just messing with us again.
You can tell becuase first he said he would use that money to get an A3000T, then a PC, but nowhere did he say I was stupid for having an A4000T instead of a better quality "Commodore Amiga 2000 Series Computer"
(Cue fanfare)

So he is not himself on this thread  8-)
