Since these are 5v, can they be powered by a PC or classic XBOX PSU?

I don't have a Framemeister, only the GBS8200. I can use my power pack (which I bought separately) or connect something to the open ended cable that came with the unit.

I'd like to use one of these for my classic XBOX as well, so I'd like to know if I could power it through that if I put it all in a new case.
