Marijuana is a natural herb, not a drug...

Like the government supported anti-depressants that you always hear about on TV. You know, the ones that lead to organ failure, zombification, death, or a more intense depression than they started with which often times drives them to suicide.

And you know, ever since America invaded Afganastan, Heroin shipments to the U.S. Have only increased. So much for homeland security, which by the way seems more focussed on the citizens than on what is coming in.

It's all a bunch of B.S. Propaganda.

As for celeb suicides, it's generally the hopelessness of the industry that drives them to it. They are slaves with no seeable way out. Trapped in a very strange world so far from home. Only psychotics like Lady Ga Ga, Madonna and the like are well adjusted to it, but those who have retained a sence of Little House on the Praire humanity either break down or get crushed...

Then there are those like Amy who got too caught up and did too much too fast.

Oh ya, Franko. Didn't you say you smoke something like three packs a day?

Well I hate to break it to you, but it is not the THC in marijuana that leads to brain cell damage. Rather it comes from the suffocating effects of the carbonmonoxide which is produced from the fire itself.

Considering that a cigarette smoker consumes a LOT more smoke than your general marijuana smoker, I'd say you are a lot more at risk of brain cell damage amongst forms of nasty side effects that come only from cigarette smoke, tar, and the chemicals addedinto cigarettes to make them burn slower. I won't even get into menthols.

Thankfully, in defense of marijuana, there are alternative methods to take it that do not involve burning it and therefore remove carbonmonoxide from the equation. Unfortunately for nicotine based narcotic addicts, chewing tabacco with still result in cancer of the mouth.

So all in all, as a friend, I advise you research what you put into your body, and seriously consider training your mind and body to adapt to moderation.

A couple short examples...

I could really go into this subject deep, but alas I must head into work, so I'll let David Chappelle share with you his personal experiences a bit.

Also, this last video is from old school rapper Kool Keith.

He is well known to talk about the true world behind the curtain of fame. This song starts off with his usual silliness, but then by the middle takes a turn and exploits some Hollywood realities.

Franko, you do realize that my ancestors made use of sacramental herb for different reasons than those that dominate modern "white culture" right?

The kind of people you are describing annoy the he'll outta me too! :)

Oh and herbs were designed by the creator for more specific uses than cooking, flavouring, or tea parties. :)
In fact most off the shelf herbs have been heavily watered down so to speak.

Yeah I do know quite a bit about native American Indian traditions and the use of hallucinogenic plants in ceremonies... :)

There's a big difference between that and taking drugs just to get a high for the sake of it... ;)

One of the main things that irks me in this country about drugs is, if your unfortunate to be rushed into hospital these days, the first question they ask you is "what kind of drugs do you take" (and they aint talking prescribed)... :(

It's probably the only thing in life I find highly offensive... :madashell:

It would seem that these days, it's expected that everyone takes or uses some kind of drugs and although I know plenty of people from all walks of life and professions that do take drugs (and many who have ruined their lives and careers and families not to mention even died) from this crazy habit, I've never had the urge to do so myself and only see the damage it has done to others and our local community... :(

There are many things wrong with this world from politics to society in general but it just makes me mad & sad to watch people ruining a perfectly good life all for the sake of taking something that gives them a few moments of pleasure and a lifetime of misery... :(

If there's one topic I will never change my view on it's drugs, I've heard all the petty excuses from friends, family & colleagues over the years and none of it washes with me... ;)

Don't worry, I'm not trying to get you to smoke a joint Franko. ;)

I'm just pointing out that there are different reasons for people to do things, and different results depending upon the personality taking them.

For instance, I have known this one guy since I was about 14. He has always been obsessive compulsive. VERY Obsessive Compulsive! When I graduated from High School and got my own Apartment, he used to wake me up, every freaking morning about one hour before he had to be to school. At first he began knocking on the door, but once I realized it was him knocking on the door every morning, I stopped answering.

So what does he do? He climbs off the edge of the balcony that the stairs led to (I lived up stairs), and would climb in through my window, which could have resulted in him falling and getting hurt, but he was determined.

After a few days of this I told him,"dude, I graduated, I am free from that institutional prison, I have earned the right to sleep in, if you are going to stop by, do it AFTER school!".

The next day I slept in. The day after that, he stopped in at lunch, the day after that...

...back to crawling in through the window ever day.

Now a days he will message me like five million times a day to see if I want to hang out. I will make it clear that I have no interest in hanging out as I have some projects I'd like to get involved in, or what ever, but he will continue to ask to no end regardless.

About 12 years ago when I let him move into the city with me and my friends, he ended up picking up a crack habit...

...how do you think that went?

Well now a days I don't think he is doing crack anymore considering he's in the Army Reserves and what not, but it's always hard to tell. Obsessive Compulseives act like crack heads anyhow.

Though there is also the alcohol which for an obsessive compulsive person, is just as bad as there are MANY MANY MANY negative side effects to alcohol, for which reason I don't really drink except maybe once a year if that.

Bottom line is it all comes down to the individual as to how they handle the content they are taking. On top of that it is their own friggin' business as to what they put into their body. We ARE NOT government property, or more accurately, because this is what it all boils down to in the big scheme of things (as not brought to you by Tell-Lie-Vision). We are not property of the World Bank, of FDIC, though they are convinced we are.

Anyhow, stereotyping annoys the hell out of me, and people getting all up in other people's lives because of what they want to do annoys the hell out of me. I mean I understand, I FULLY understand being affected by someone with a bad habit. I have plenty more tales about my obsessive compulsive buddy, and a lot more regarding to the local government pill poppers and alcoholics. I live in middle America atm after all.

But in the end, no one has the right to decide what a person does or does not take. That is a violation of freedom, of privacy, of personal sovereignty, and totally in line with the new world agenda which nearly everyone seems to be blindly lining up to become a citizen of and conformist to.

Besides, as I have pointed out, all the drugs and intoxicants that are legal, will MESS YOU UP! And some of those so called drugs, those herbs that they try to send the public into hysteria over...

...are harmless for the most part, if not even healthy to some degree. And it's really a shame that people form such a blind hatered towards pot smokers, because really I wonder if pot smokers would be so paranoid if everyone wasn't looking down on them as if what they are doing is so much worse than being on some sort of pill diet, drunk on alcohol, or what have you.

Anyhow, as for me, it's a nice thing to come home and relax to at the end of the night. I smoke about 1 Gram total a night if that, which is about the equivalent of one cigarette.

Sadly I still smoke Cigarettes too, about 2 packs every other day, and I can feel it. Sadly narcotics are not only mentally addicting, but physically, though I can say I smoke a LOT less than I used to. So I'm on my way.

I don't use drugs. I'm not prescribed a thing, and I've no interest in acquiring those deadly government pills illegally.

Also pot does not cause hang overs. Alcohol does, so you might wanna ask your nurse or doc if she drank the night before. :)

Man made = drug, an herb is an herb. :)

Denial is always a sign of someone with perceptual dysfunction as advocated by the "opinion makers" behind the consolidated media.

That's where people always seem to get their strange ideas. ;)

Thank you for this, I'm going to have to do some research on this, but what I've had time to read thus far totally conforms to a lot of what I knew before about the ancient (as opposed to modern) Hebrew practices, though most of what I knew was in relation to the psychedelic mushrooms, or Manna as some call them.

Very interesting!

Of course my friends in the middle east were always more than happy to inform me that in Egypt and surrounding areas, they smoke hemp, and not just flavored tobacco out of their Hookas. They insist I could go over to Cairo aNd make a nice living as a Hookah packer in the tourist restaurants.
