I'm not getting personal, but maybe you are. Look deeper into these things - being open minded is *never* a bad thing. Don't unquestioningly follow *any* company, whether it has the Amiga name or not - because companies are out to make money, and they love people like that. Easy money.
As for the facts, here are the three main ones, in all their brutal glory:
Amiga Inc. have little or more probably no Amiga coders of their own. Why do I think this? Because they leased OS4 out to a 3rd party, a games company no less. I'm not questioning Hyperion's abilities of course, but just look at that.
Amiga Inc. have little or no engineers. They can't build boards themslves, or even design them. Compare that to their competitor, bplan, who can do both.
Amiga Inc. are short on cash. Why do I think this? Because they want the money up front. Give me another good reason for their coupons promotion.
Supporting the Amiga and the Amiga community does not necessarily mean supporting Amiga Inc. They're just a company with a name. I choose to support them because, as I said, if they go then so does the Amiga's last chance.
Pessimistic, me? No way. Pessimistic would mean I'd already be gone PC/Linux-side, or supporting Amithlon/bplan. Please don't call anyone with an ounce of trepidation as pessimistic. It just looks and sounds dogmatic and over zealous, and does absolutely nothing for our cause.
