Why not just stick to ScanDoubler-type devices?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get one of these?

I've been a long time A500 user since 1988, and it's been decked out with a massive 3Mb of Ram and an cavernous 270Mb hard drive.  Having dabbled with Amiga Forever for a while I felt like going back to a real Amiga... Now I have just landed myself a nice A4000/40 from ebay which works a treat but my 1084s died, literally the day before the A4000 arrived.  I want to look at using a VGA monitor on the A4000 but it has to cope with the lowres screenmodes as well.

Ahh, it's good to be back (sorta). Though the A520 modulator just isn't how I'd ideally be experiencing an AGA Amiga for the first time ;)

Anyway - advice much appreciated as I'm new to this bigbox Amiga phenomenon.
