...can easily be read to mean "he didn't do his job as admin satisfactorily".
This:
I *do* feel that if he put as much effort into his former duties with Amiga.org as he now is with his own Web site, Amiga.org would be a better place today.
...is much more clear as to what you actually meant.
When feelings run high, every sentence invariably gets interpreted in the most negative way imaginable. People read, react and think, in precisely that order. Somethimes they even forget to do the last one...
