Like someone else said, why drag E3B into the argument between Chris Hodges and Elbox?

Elbox claim that everything Chris has done and the whole trojan scandal were all part of the evil E3B's plot to discredit them.

Also, is it legal to stop a competitors product from working like this?

Not as such, but they are bending the rules by stopping their own product from working, not that of their competitors.

Of course, I doubt anyone is fooled.

It`s times like this I`m glad to be an "underpriviledged" user without a Mediator.

Elbox are right up there with H&P on my list of companies whose products are to be permanently boycotted.

On my boycott list, Amiga Inc :destroy: is at the top!

How do you boycott nothing?

Elbox do have worthwhile products (in my case the Spider II would be of some use), which is why boycotting their goods actually means something.

@lempkee

I'm not boycotting them over one incident, but over the fact that they are without principles and have tried to damage and discredit their competitors for years now.

You may not believe in doing so, but I'm quite happy to deprive myself of a product that would be useful to me on a matter of principle.

It's my principle and my boycott. Why do you feel the need to judge what is stupid and what is not stupid from my point of view? I'm not making "excuses" and I most certainly am not seeking approval. I'm just stating my position.

As for the E3B issue, unless and until Elbox state publicly that they are removing the impediment, I don't see any reason to assume that they will.
