I don't understand the fuss. The !Amiga" name has been pretty meaningless for years now, and keeping it in AROS essentially indicates that AROS is just trying to be a compatible copy of a seriously outdated 1990's operating system.
Even if there were no legal implications, having a name independent of legacy connotations is a positive move for AROS anyway.
