Something you may want to take a look at with a bit more "future stance". If you go to the
Helix web page and scroll down to the very bottom, you'll see names such as TAO Group involved in the community effort. That means either TAO as a whole is interested in Helix or there is one person working at Tao who has been given permission to work on Helix in their spare time. It's an interesting piece of the puzzle, but I don't know for sure if this is indeed part of the larger picture TAO is providing.
