Please note that these Sega-Adaptors will be
supported by all games/emulators using lowlevel.library on Amiga OS 4. I wrote a Driver for AmigaInput for them some while ago, and there is a special version of lowlevel.library for OS 4, which maps the CD32 Buttons to an AmigaInput device.

Actually you even can freely choose the mapping using the GUI of AmigaInput.

Cool :-)

Will AmigaInput support Sega or CD32 pads (with all buttons) when working with a Catweasel on an A1 ?

Hi!

At least currently support for pads using special adapters (like Sega...) is only existing on Classic Amiga. I am working currently on a Joystick-Driver (PC Analog-Stick) for the AmigaOne, though.

Steffen

Cool, there are lots of PC Analog-Sticks around :-) .

Pity we wont be able to use those Sega or CD32 pads with a Catweasel, I have got kinda attached to them on my old Amiga :-( .

Well, a CD32 Pad should work, as you can use it as
a Digital Joystick also anyways :) The directions are like the directions of a digital stick, and the red button is like the fire button...

Only the ones which need adapters (Sega, 4-Player,...) will need
a Classic Amiga. And well, it would be possible that someone writes Drivers to support those on Catweasel too I guess...

Steffen

I suppose both pads would work with the Catweasel then, just without the extra buttons :-( , until a driver is developed (fingers crossed) :-) .
