I regret selling my A1200. I kept my CD32 for years as a music player until the controller wore out.
I picked up an A1200 earlier this, and it was good to be reunited with the little beast. Seeing the way computers and their operating systems have developed over the last 20 years, returning to a model where the computer was working for the user, not as a spyware platform collecting data for an AI company, is rather compelling to me.
There is, I believe, a small niche for easy "honest computing" that a DIY ArchLinux install cannot fill.
Once I have a space dedicated to my A1200 I'm going to setup AKReal I think. I'm a little less interested (but no less impressed) with Vampire boards, although a new standalone machine could be a base platform Amiga for the next decade...
