I finally tracked Jim Hines down, the author of EZHOME and EZCRON amiga X-10 home control software. He was kind enough to give me permission to release it.
Jim no longer supports it so please don't bother him .

Just stumbled across this thread. While I had a vague recollection of the Name "EZHome" I didn't know what it stands for. So I followed your link to the old web-archive article about it.

Having read the article I have to say I'm impressed.
Didn't know such a cool tool existed for the Amiga!
Really cool!
Will definitely download it, buy the CM11A Controller and 'play' with it - maybe I can discover some other purposes to use it for!

You wrote he gave you the permission to release the software. Did he also give you access to the source code, so that the software could be updated/advanced by interested people?
All the best,

As the  CM11A controller is no longer made:
How about the compatibility with its successor XTB-232?

It wasn't even the only x10 automation software on Amiga.
