Even somewhere like the south of england is to far for me to travel.

We could arrange small meetings, so eg, those inthe north of england could get together, as could those in the south, then those in america could etc.

Maybe we could have an official a.org irc meeting once a month? People could congregrate in their local group physically, and all the local groups could link via irc?

Jay Miner would probably look on with disgust at the hardcore amiga comunity. The ouija board would spell things like "Get a life", "move on", and "lol, amiga is dead silly". If Jay Miner were alive today, he would probably delight in firecely trolling amiga related message boards.
