InfraRed, science in wieght loss
« on: March 28, 2005, 03:49:15 AM »
Greetings,

I was bored at home since my Telephone line was out the whole weekend, when I saw this or similar product at the tv. I was intrigued by the way it functions. It emmits Far IR(Infra Red)light while it massages that part of the body, it gives a warm sensation, something with money would just shell out and try out this product immediately, and, according to them, has been proven effective. It got me curious to find out about IR.

I've done a few searches concerning IR and according to a site, the Far Infrared Ray is a spectrum of the sun's energy that burns your excess fats, calories and works to heal your body and maintain your health.

What Far Infrared Ray can do?
* increases your metabolism
* burns your excess fats and extra calories
* improves your body curve as it gets rid of flab
* eliminates your fatigue rapidly
* regulates your autonomic nervous system better
* improves your blood circulation
* promotes rapid healing

Actually, I got this info from a slimming undergarment site. :-D anyhow... know any side effects? like when overuse, it'll irritate the skin or give it a sun burn or somthing like that? Of course, most site will not give out negative publicity about this. So I want to hear from you if it does or know any side effects?

Regards,

Well, the best method of slimming I know is liposuction.

Dieting is one good example. However, some ppl's metabolism don't, specially in her early 30's or so. Specifically some women who want to shed flabs off yet tried dieting, still no effect.
Liposuction! :-o too expensive but a real effective treatment, still they'll have to puncture you to 'suck' all the fattie flabs out of you. I remeber one case of an illegitimate dermatologist 'killed' her patient due to malpractice. :-o I'll pass lipo!!

Any food synthethically produced always have adverse side effects on the body, that's why there's still natural vegtables extracts, a proper diet and excercise is still the best possible route to good health.

Those Zen meditation sounds good too. :-) I would like try that! A clear mind and body. A secret to longer life. ;-)

I've had to learn the hard way that too much training is a very bad thing, as I used to gym twice a week and take myself to the brink of physical exhaustion every time.  It's better to go more often and do less than to go relatively infrequently and make up for lost time.

You must be one sexy, buff dude by now. With that kind of regieme, you have no room for fat! :-) Try some sauna bath or go to some hot springs to really ease those tensions! :-)
If your wallet is much thinner, sleepping more than 8 hours is still good for your body to recover from those (religoius) training. Good luck with that, PMC. :-)

@Cymric
You're quite right about the whole 'natural' & 'synthetic' point of view. They may be the same material, but the difference in the 'synthetic' method is, for example, a synthetic calcium has added vitamins/minerals and/or may react to our body or could trigger allergies and so on, whereas the naturally extracted calcium from a real source, like a fish, may not. Or is it just the way both were made/produced here? :-)
