Well, it is hardly a "private opinion" if he is posting it on a public message board.
Fact is, the software appears to be running integer-only binaries reasonably fine right now. FPU emulation can be safely missed out as well as most Amiga software was available with both FPU and non-FPU versions. That functionality can come with an OS update like 4.2. As long as the JIT emulator gets a majority of 68k OS-compliant software to run, it will suffice for the initial release.
I don't know when OS4 will be available, it appears to be at least around August as far as I can see. Since that thread there will have been a couple more months to get Petunia integrated into OS4 and solving any remaining problems not related to the dual-CPU architecture of the test boards.
