Great! Is anyone here going to be attending the canberra show? I'll be there unless there is a melbourne one, but then again i may go to both? Their just about the same distiance from here (albury/wodonga)!

So i cant wait, i'll be taking my dads camera hopfuly, which isnt too shabby... i believe it can take movies, so i'm goign to have to ask him and then get him to show me how its works :)

I assume Hyperion WONT be there... damn this remote continent of ours, event though it does have its advantages! I take that damn back... God bless this remote continent of ours :)

Couldnt we toe Australia with a few hundred thousand tugboats closer to the US or Europe?

I figure china is going to be a super power pretty soon, so if we did move the country, we'd have to move it straight back again. I ask myself, and my fellow aussies... is it worth it?

LOL Rodney, maybe we could find some benefactors to fund the purchase of the tugboats!

Well, if we did decide to do it... Maybe we could just hire Ian Thorpe? Hows that old saying go?... oh yes "Thorpies as strong as one hundred thousand tugboats and as fast as a zertec! :)

Ian may well be cheaper than the tugboats!

That's a huge venue!

also, vortexau, can we expected pictures and a report from you? I'll hopfully be able to privide pictures and deffinitly a short report about the canberra one... I just wish to know what im up for...

The canberra one could be the smallest of them all actualy... :} Most likly i'd say!

And maybe grant hacket would be more suited to the moving australia idea... he's more of a long distance swimmer... He wouldnt be cheap either, but cheaper than thorpe anyway!!!

When will we start to hear from anyone at the show? And, if your not one of those guys on the internet, how does anyone else know about the OS4 tours?

Is there anyone in australia that subscribes to magazines that these events would have been published in?

I havnt noticed anyone from here or amigaworld that are going to the canberra one yet either! :}

I wonder how big these shows are gunna be... i mean some of the ones through out europe wernt that large, do you think the Aussie ones could topple them?

I doubt it! If im the only one there, im gunna feel a little weird! :)

teotwin:

I just kinda wanna know what number of people turned up, if there was a lot of interest, and what it was focused on, like A1-itx or OS4, etc...

I think its a shame no pegasos systems arnt being shown at the shows. You'd get more interest, bigger, brighter atmosphere etc...

So what was the atmosphere like? Who was there? Any Amiga Celebs?

But i wouldnt go out of my way to see it as im doing now... i'd just be very convenient for me if it was there :)

I've got a coupla friends studying at melbourne university (where i may be soon, if i cant find a job) so i'll let them know.

Is there like posters on the net that one could print off and post here and there? That'd be handy! I guess theres that one on the os4downunder site!
