Why doesn't Chaos Lord simply release the source code to aminet.net (with it's resources)? Also release the latest up to date binary version in aminet.net too that is not a demo, that is not restrictive to 20 turns and that it have no issues with graphical issue in the menu system.
The advantage of that is that is someone can take over where Chaos Lord stopped and can in turn release new versions with more features such as:
1) RTG support
2) 2.5D isometric drop down graphics (detailed terrains, large map exploration)
3) Maybe even 3D graphics with larger map exploration and detailed terrains
4) Could add a story with campaign, in-game video, in-game video ending, cut scenes, etc
5) Add online support for multiplayer playing..where people can browse different servers and join that server with many people playing online (giving the person to put rules in his server, such as how many people can play, password required to join in, etc, etc)
6) THIS GAME IS ONLY FOR THE AMIGA COMPUTER SYSTEM (regardless if it is 68k, PPC) ONLY. Not x86 AROS or MorphOS.
THIS WAY THIS GAME will become like Super Mario/Zelda for Nintendo but for the Amiga. If you guys know what I mean. ChaosLord you could open a huge door and opportunity and make Total Chaos a legacy game that will not die with you and can move on with your name on it until end of time if you do release the source code and of course compile the latest binary.
Think of it as a well as will. You can make a rule that if anyone sells the game your family gets loyalty profit and you put the number of percentage how much it is. Chaos Lord think about it.
