Question about PCMCIA cards

Hello guys!
Im having the chance of getting a cheap 3Com PCMCIA Etherlink III model 3C589D-TP, to set a network between my PC & my Amiga 1200. Since im not sure if this model actually works, im asking here if anybody has it, or had it in the past, working in a 1200.

I have been reading a lot, and in Aminet i found that model 3C589D (without the "TP") is reported to work well..

So if anybody can confirm about this, i will be very thankfull

@DJ Base, i dont have the card YET...i have the chance of getting at a very fair amount of money, but before i do that investment, i just wanted to make sure im choosing the right one..

so TP means just Twisted Pair..my idea is to hook both the PC & the Amiga to a hub, to share internet and information (i guess i will have to install Samba as well)

Anyway, you have encouraged me now, i will buy it now!

@amije : but i have dsl broadband...and only 1 ethernet card on the pc...so i must use a hub in order to share my internet connection..right??? im a little confused now...

unfortunately i have a modem with only 1 cable, so i must use a hub then, and build me 2 nice straight cables...
