Hi all:

i was getting ready to spend a long time in deluxe paint
to master the pixel art so I can make nice sprites for use
in amos.
But I just had a great idea --->
Why not use lightwave 3d (in which i am very decent skill)
to make all sprites ?
i can make nice art in lightwave and then resize to be able
to convert to sprites for amos.

Yes of course you can do that.  I am very happy that you are skilled in LightWave.

But AMOS is very limited in colors and resolution.  Most AMOS games use 16x16 tiles in 64 colors 320x256.  It will be a real batch to convert down that far.  And I don't really mean "batch" :)

I coded a game in JC that uses 32x32 tiles in 256 colors on a 640x512 screen.  So I will happily use 1 or 2 of ur renders if u can make them smoothly animated.  We have a few 3D rendered animations in the game already.  They can convert in an "ok" manner if done carefully.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA
