Bill replied to my other post on AW and said that this driver will work officially all the way up to the 8500, but *may* (unofficially) work on additional models.  (I'm assuming the 9000/9100 series).  When it comes to the next series (9200-9800) they are based on a different chip, so it probably wont work there.

BTW, where have you guys seen the price listed for the Micro-A1?  I don't recall seeing a price listed anywhere.  Or are you just assuming?

Basically, yes, but even with less performance. Although it is classified as an R280 catagory, but still the R2XX series.   The driver may work with the 9200 class as well, but when you go the next step to 9500> you are definitely into a different chipset altogether.
