Yup, I saw it ! though I nearly missed it completely - only noticed cos it was mentioned in the 6 o'clock news...

I did take some experimental pictures with my DC3400 (nearly forgot to use the tripod ;-)) but the zoom feature isnt good enough.

I did also take the opportunity to observe totality in my telescope* - very nice at 30x ! no piccies though - my afocal techique isnt sorted yet, though I'm plotting a neat little 'hack' involving a webcam...
