As Itix said inter EU banktransfers aren' allowed to cost much more then local transfers. I never had to pay anything for the few EU banktransfers I made this far but I guess that depends on the bank. I surely doubt that charging 4 EUR by the receiving bank is in allignment with EU regulations but I won't argue about that.
As for the discussion about banktransfer vs. Paypal it is a matter of personal taste I guess. I for myself would never ever use Paypal or something similar.
