The main advantages of OS3.5/3.9 are the TCP/IP stack, large HD support, CDFS, and other support software.  If none of this interests you, then stick to OS3.0/3.1.

Where is this?  The Find utility in the System folder?  If so, I don't consider that very integrated.

I agree though that 3.9 is a very nice OS and has much more functionality than 3.0/3.1.  But, if you're only going to play games then don't bother.

Have you recently looked into the Window menu  ?


Yes, that just runs the Find utility from the System folder.  I wouldn't call that integrated (it doesn't even use the current window as the search point so I don't know why it's in the Window menu).  I was hoping there was a better solution that I'd overlooked.
