Just a question regarding A3000 and batteries. If the unit has no battery inside, are you able to keep the native scsi controller's settings after powering off, or not? I've heard the controller simply returns to default settings if there's no battery installed to keep what ever you changed through setbatt.

Well you can enable/disable sync transfer, fast scsi-2 mode, and basically push the controller to its limits, providing that your drives support it. ;-) Try setbatt, it's neat. :-)
