Where can I send my Blizzard PPC for repaire.
« on: July 24, 2003, 02:36:07 PM »
I've recently bought a Blizzard PPC 060/50-603e-240 mhz card, non working, it won't boot at all in my A1200T. I bought the card as non working repairable, so I knew what I was buying. Could someone sujest a way of working out what the problem may be, and who can I send it to for repair in the UK.  I've emailed DCE but not had a response yet. :-?

Hi.
I bought(swapped) the card, it was advertised as non working on AmiBench, the guy said that it just stopped working, could be a crystal, needs flashing, anything, so I thought I'd give it a go and try to repaire it. I've got a Micronik A1200T with a 250 wat power supply, so I know that it's not that, any ideas where I can get the tyming crystals from? When you power on with the PPC card in it wont boot at all, just a black screen.

Hi.
Hyperion take them, DCE still haven't sent me a reply, so I wont send it to them, they can't even be bothered to reply to me. I'll send Hyperion an email.
                Thanks, Warren.

Just get another one, have you seen how much they sell for on Amibench, also they'r quite rare now, but like I said, well overpriced for the relativly low speed.
