I'll have to agree on the lack of warranty.  When I picked up my C-One, it took 4 months for him to send him a flash chip to make it work.  I later picked up a RR-Net card for the C64, it didn't work.  Protovision told me that they wouldn't support me and to get with Jens.  4 months after repeated emails to Jens, I was told to send it back to him.  3 months after that I asked where it was and was told 'I never got it' and never heard from him again.

Sigh and Protovision is not here to comment either.

I'm not faulting Protovision.  Their service has been great but they basically told me since they believed all of the items had been tested that were shipped to them, that it must be a defect and to get with the manufacturer.  And it's quite possible that it *did* work on its way out the door and was damaged in shipping.

I don't have a problem at all supporting the few companies that are making products for older machines  As an owner of a stupid amount of Individual Computer products (C-One, Xsurf, Retro Replay, MMC64, etc), I was disappointed that the one issue I had wasn't resolved and it definitely makes me think twice about putting any more money towards new products since there seems to be so many neat things coming out in the future.
