nope . . . IB uses its internal decoders or the external as datatypes.

Your CSPPC has a faster ram access compared to the CSMK2.

using PPC datatypes for images decoding, doesn't help too much (due context switches).

Anyway if you wanna try, goto:

Preferences>HTML(double-click)>Images and set it to External.

You will lose JPEG progressive rendering and animated GIFs . . . as DT doesn't support it :-(

can you see JPG and PNG with Multiview?

Otherwise the WarpDT aren't installed correctly.

Check in Classes/Datatypes to DON'T have double DT installed

i.e WarpPNG.datatype and png.datatype and so.

Check the descriptors also in Devs:Datatypes.

Have you used the installer?
