It sounds like you may still need someone to write out the adf's to a real amiga floppy. The CD driver won't be available on boot-up, unless by chance you have a SCSI interface that has its' driver in ROM... such as my 1230 SCSI module... then you can boot from it via Early Startup Control.

@AMC258: IIRC, the OS is not in ROM, the ROM only has Topaz font, essential commands like Execute, SetPatch, Assign, self-test, etc. More of a kernal than an OS... IMHO, without a bootdisk or a bootable HDD, you are stuck....
