And now guess why I allready knew who posted this
after I just saw the topic .......
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

@Helgis/alx

TerraSoft is bigger than Eyetech and chances are that they would
sell more boards. If this company refuses to give any release
dates on their page, and now even deletes the little info they had their....

On the other side we have Eyetech who's excuses have been in the last weeks:

a) the BIOS ain't finished, odd thin is that Hand J. Frieden wrote it
would have been finished weeks ago.

b) Moto doesn't deliever the CPUs, Even if one believes that it still
raises the question why they don't deliever the A1-XE-G3 with IBM-CPU
than ?

c) they are on the way, but honestly delievery from Taiwan doesn't
take weeks in this day and age.

So could it be that all these delays have somthing to do with
the board itself or the northbridge used on it ?

edit:

Wow typing with such a lag is real pain ....

@Helgis

The Terons (MK2) promised by TerraSoft are 100% identical with
those promised by Eyetech.

The same onboard-audio, the same BIOS (U-Boot) the same southbridge
and yes the way the AGP-slot interfers with the 1st PCI is also the same.

Eyetech ?

You mean the guy who really thought the Escena-board would ever run ?
The one who talked about a A1200_2_PCI-bridge ?
Who wanted to put a BGA-socket onto a consumer product ?

 :lol:

There is noone at Eyetech capable of this, and anything they order in
the far east will also find it's way onto the "normal" Teron, cause
there is no way of finacing something like that back just in the Amiga-
market.
