MakeCD made me want to beat my head against a wall with its indecipherable user interface, but I have used it successfully in the past to burn CD's on my Amiga that could be read-back by my PC.  Make sure you have plenty of memory for cache/buffer space, and burn slow.  Have fun!

Unless if you have SCSI, then you don't have to worry about anything. Just burn full speed and do other things with your computer Never got any buffer underruns with SCSI setup... and I was surfing the web and listening mp3 at the same time. PC owning friend was horrified that I did those things while burning

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you must have a pretty beefy system.  It was a struggle with my A500 before I upgraded it (had just a 68010, 1MB chip, 4MB fast, old 80MB hard drive in a GVP SCSI sidecar with SCSI CD-RW).  Still could do it though, until the buffer ran out.  Just a few files at a time, LOL!
