Nice! Good job! From your first photo above it looks like your next project should be the motherboard mod to convert that A501 of yours into an additional 512K of usable chip ram.

Quite rite Mike. Whdload is not much fun with only 512kb of chip ram.

Congrats!  When you cut your traces you've got to be extra-careful to get them completely.  I checked mine with a multimeter before powering on just to be certain.  Glad you got it!
