what version of linux are you using ? try something a bit more user friendly if u want like mandrake ppc. I use mandrake on my X86 box its pretty nice. There is one advantage ... if u get the linux drivers for your ppc and recompile them for ppc it will be faster than the amigaos4.0 drivers i think . Anyway stick with linux a bit try mandrake (
