Depend on how much cash you're talking about. I wouldn't pay much for them since: they don't run reliable in all A1200, the 040 runs extremly hot and isn't suitable for sitting in a A1200 desctop, it only offers 32mb mem uppgrade as stock, and last though not specific for the card... 040 is the CPU that offers least compability with "older" software.

As I said.. as stock it only offers 32Mb mem upgrade. And not one thing anyone says can convince me that a 040 is suited for an A1200 desctop, it's not a question of if it works but for how long.

There's simply not enough room in the A1200 desctop to offer enough airflow for me to recommend it to anyone and I'll quote myself here and repeat: "Commodore didn't release the A3000 with a 040 since they found the airfrlow in the A3000 to be insufficient to cool their 040/25 card even with it's massive heatsink... try to pick up some common sence from that."
