I don't know if it conflicts with the scsi.device. At least the FastATA uses the scsi.device for it's IDE drives and I can imagine if one would precent it with a scsi.device for SCSI drives such as in the A3000 that it would act up.

Yes I belive so but perhaps the system doesn't like 2 different kinds of scsi.device? what do I know? Have you tried it in a different IDE based machine?

You are most definitly right about that so why not try and ask Jens... he might have some info?

Else I can just say the same as k-disk... if it don't work it's most likely busted. :-(
