Great concept. For years I've thought of the Amiga as a charity - legal nonprofit status could help a lot. I'm particularly interested in your plans to get old software available for sale - something like Steam or the iPhone App store for the Amiga could do wonders for commercial distribution.
Be prepared for some backlash, but don't think anything of it - it comes with the territory (nonprofit, that is... but the Amiga, too, I suppose
).
