@wurzel

What is your Amiga Config and how many colors are you running WB on?  I suggest you run at least 64 colors.

Also, to fix IBrowse....put it on a seperate Public screen. You will have IBrowse use its own colors and it will look better.

Alternative to STOP-MENU (And wayyyyyyy better minus the icons) Get Tools Daemon and Magic Menu............this is truly Amiga's Start Menu but at the top.

Also get:

AmigaAIM - AOL/AIM Instant Messenger
JabberWocky - MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger etc...
WookieChat - IRC
AmIRC - IRC
AmiPODDER - PodCasting
AmiDICTION - Online Dictionary
AmiTradeCenter - Kazzaa/LimeWire PTP type software
AMPlifier - WinAMP for Amiga
AmigaAMP - WinAMP for Amiga with gfx cards
SCALA MM300 or 400 - PowerPoint for the Amiga but better!

All these apps will get your girlfriend happy that the Amiga can do all these as well like a PC.

Show off Amiga to your girlfriend properly, make sure you have all these....at the very least.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

Wow Amster still works?   I thought Napster was down years ago???

You Got SCALA MM400?  dont be turned off by AGA..........PC have gfx cards and use Powerpoint..........I have AGA and use SCALA.............My presentations are better than theirs many many times!

I use HAM8 where necessary and all kinds of tricks with SCALA............the viewers dont notice 256 color or 16 million...........they just notice the cool presentation.

Get AmigAIM anyway.it might be better than the AIM implemented into Jabberwocky.

get Magic Menu..it simply makes ToolsDaemon  look better.

I think the probelms you are having might be related to the Gfx card. This is what I suspect now.
