With the spectrum card you should have seen $1200 to $1400 for even a BIN!

I think that's too much with just the 3640 accelerator. $800-$1000 is about right, maybe a little more for being so clean.

$400-$700 Base 4000T with 3640
$100-$200 Spectrum
$50-$100 Hydra

The other trinkets, setup and condition no doubt added more but it's more difficult to estimate the luck and like aspects ;).

The Spectrum passthrough is nice but a Cybervision 64 can be bought for not much more and is way better performance.

Nice job btw. Your presentation and reasonable buy it now price and shipping made for a quick sell. You might have sold it for a little more if you weren't in a hurry but I think you did pretty good.

I'm afraid, Toto, we are not in Kansas any longer.  A working standard A4000T will bring in $1000, moderate condition $1100, nice condition $1200+.  You are on the money with the Spectrum 24/28, but only the 2Base BNC Hydra would go for less than $100; all RJ-45 NICs will bring in the near $200 range, though the Hydra is the least desirable.

Yes, one may find "once in a blue moon" prices, but on the whole following the general trend on Amibay and eBay, the prices I gave are just what you will find. The average user won't just chuck his Amiga out in the street, and will reference the going prices on EAB, Amibay, eBay.uk, and here before putting up his stuff for sale. Some prices if listed as BIN are good enough for some of to pick them up as soon as we see them (the reason why I check those places about six times a day).  :)

If all you are testing for is FPS, then a PCI board such as a Radeon or Voodoo will give you the best numbers. On the Zorro side a PicassoIV is > Cybervision64 > Cyber vision 64/3D > Spectrum, etc.  Zorro III is a great deal faster then Zorro II, and you will see about a doubling is data transfer to a GPU card, and more with a memory card. SCSI cards have HDD, bus, and other limitations will speeds varying with the types of hardware used.

I have 2 Spectrum EGS24/28 cards and I love them.  They work perfectly with quick setup with P96 2.1c and give a great picture. They may be slow, but for WorkBench and Web Cerfing it if just fine; the pass thru is a great treat to avoid a VGA switch.

Are you stare on it to proclaim its ugly?
try to do something with 2000 - it is absolutely worthless box - its place somewhere in closet

What does, "Are you stare on it to proclaim its ugly?" mean?  And what is the "something" that can't be done with an A2000?  Play games?  Word processing?  Desktop publishing?  Generate analogue video?  Generate 3D models and animation?  Cerf the internet?  Expand it with accelerator, RTG card, Ethernet card, and sound card?  I don't get it?  It lacks AGA and a 32-bit bus, so what?

so you can't play aga games, some  other games lacks of pictures, and you'll receive workbench in 16  colours
in my opinion 1200>2000>500+ BTW, who in present time generates analogue video?? I thought HD video is everywhere
in this case what is the difference between a600 and a2000? slow zorro-II?
I'm afraid the number of AGA games is just a fraction of  the Amiga gaming scene; further the A1200 lacks Zorro bus slots without  towerizing it; the ZorroIII slots are only used for RTG, FastlaneZ3,  and 2+ RAM cards, two of which are electronically identical (ZorRam & BigRam+).:insane:

Using criteria of expandability, the A2000 ranks with the  A3000T and A4000T.  The 16-color Workbench has work around with the RTG  being the fastest -- I have seen a HAM workbench with 4096 colors.  In my opinion, based on criteria of expandability, ease to work on, build quality, usability, ownership, and value, the A4000T > A4000D > A3000T  > A1200T > A3000D >A2000 > A1200 > A6/500 > A1000; the only I have not owned is the A3000T.

By the way, try to work with mixing live video, analogue or  digital, for less than $10,000.  Only a fraction of the world has HD  compared to SD.  The Toaster came as a pretty complete package: video mixing, character generation, 3D object creation (and animation), and paint.  Current NewTek products start in the $20,000 USD range and up.
