Not sure. Lack of finances...
Would have liked to set up a table to sell a bunch of excess Amiga stuff. Missed the last two events. bummer.

I am planning on going.
I am close enough that I will just drive to it.  I am hoping that there will be a decent turn out.

Acill...cool, you driving in from San Diego????

That'll make at least 2 of us with Pegasos 2 in attendance and
generally showing off.

Of course, I have the home advantage because I live in Sactown :D

I've been thinking about it but it all depends on how cheap I can get the flight for. Cheapest so far is £400 but thats too much. I did see deals a while ago for £110.

JKD, Acill may want you to help him install Linux on his machine :)

If you can get it running MacOnLinux during the show, that'd be absolutely excellent.. just to show it :)

The plan is to show it off! I have 30GB reserved for linux and MOL. I may even get a new drive to devote just for OSX. I hope Sven comes in for th eshow. He seems to be the master at linux on the Pegasos.

OK I asked the misses and she said yes, so if ya want a ride to sacramento from LA area I can help out. If ya just dont wana go up there alone you can ride with me, or if its cheaper to fly to LAX I can take ya from there too. Just drop me a line here or on my email, we can get it all set up. I have a small station wagon and I can fit maybe 5 guys and their kit.

I was thinking of going too.  It depends if anyone else from the UK was up for it, and the price of the flights.

Hehe - a blue troll and a red troll on a plane..

I'm looking at prices buddy. Its proving quite difficult trying to bring them down. £400 is a lot for a couple of days, and then there is accomodation ontop. However if we can get to LA or somewhere and grab one of those greyhound busses it could work out cheaper. Its proving a logistical nightmare it being a good 9 hour flight. But going would be very cool!

I have some Easy Jet flights that I must use up or loose. For an extra £40 I cant get to Udine for the Italian show.

I found £325 to Phoenix (a bit more for LA) on ba.com from London Heathrow.  Is Phoenix nearer to Sacramento than LA?  It's still very expensive for a few days though.

Perhaps a show in Europe might be a better idea.  But... are there any big shows in Europe any more?!
