So I'm auctioning my A600 (and some rig) on ebay.

(for those interested...)My A600 rig

So dude, emails me asking if I would just sell it for my starting price + shipping.

(no one had bid)

Sheister.

I entered an agreement. This sounds like the sort of thing people have been complaining about for a long time.

Re list it.

ebay has some of the worst buyers. I think the 'Sheister's are concentraded around ebay. :(

That's not the worst story.

I get complaints from people who claim they have paid(with a whole bunch of other lies with it), but have not.

But there are worse than that to be found.

What is a "charver?"

Um, I'm not sure there's a direct American equivalent. Basically, a mentally and socially challenged juvenile delinquent.

In America "punk" comes to mind. But that might carry a different meaning for the Brits.

Quite often drive underpowered cars (Saxos etc) with stickers, loud stereos worth 4x the value of the car and under car lighting. Often seen going around in circles in a car park 'race'.

They also drive basic-model red or white Ford Escorts (usually B-reg) with fake RS body-kits and stolen alloys (with the serial numbers filed off), with aforementioned stereo and under-car lighting plus blue windscreen wiper LED's.

I seem to have been lucky with eBay. Lots of people asking me to end my auctions early (my record number for one auction was over a dozen requests to end my SX32 Pro auction early!), but not much trouble other than that.

Steve.

While we're at it, how about Vauxhall Novas with tinted windows, all the badges etc taken off with a silly little spoiler at the top and no room for passengers in the back, just a huge bassbox
mmmm-tsk-mmmm-tsk-mmmm-tsk.....bangin'!!!

In general a 1-2 grand car, with at least 4 times that spent on it. Why they don't buy a decent car to begin with is beyond me...
