MiamiDLX with two interfaces, help!!
« on: April 18, 2004, 08:28:16 PM »
Hi :)

I have a DSL connection and my A1200T is using it, that made me get rid of my modem for the internet but I still need it to connect to my work's remote access server. So I have 2 interfaces defined in miamideluxe, the ethernet one (DSL) and the modem one (work's RAS) however I can't use both at the same time, I mean, while on the internet, I connect the other interface but I can only access the work's Ip addresses and the internet stops working, I have to disconnect the modem interface to be able to use the internet again. I'd like to be able to use both interfaces at the same time.. is this possible?? If so, how? Seems like a DNS problem but I'm not sure... :-(

BTW, the amiga is connected to the internet behind a dsl modem/router using a LAN ip address (196.168.x.x type).. so the gateway for the interface is set to the router's address, same for the DNS.

Any help will be highly appreciated!

Cheers
