Sponsor update:

AmiWest 2026 is proud to announce the return of three wonderful sponsors:

AmigaOnTheLake is a premier North American Amiga shop dedicated to serving all Amiga and retro computer users by offering products and services that help keep their retro passion alive today and into the future!

AmigaStore.eu is a retail and online store in Spain that has sold Amiga products since 1999 and offers professional services to specialized customers. We love and support the Amiga world and alternative computing.

Amiga-shop.net is a German Amiga store focused on traditional Amiga products but also sponsors the creation of innovative products like the A1200 LED strip.

All these vendors offer products for other retro systems as well as their Amiga products. Please support these vendors when you make your next Amiga accessories purchase!

AmiWest Movie Night!

Join us for a special evening celebrating one of the greatest stories in gaming history! Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Gracious Films, we're proud to present a special screening of the award-winning documentary From Bedrooms to Billions during AmiWest 2026

Along with the movie, Gracious Films has provided copies to give away and raffle off. On Friday night, we will give one copy to the crowd, with several copies in the raffle. Thank you, Gracious Films!

Don't forget to book your room and get your banquet ticket on our reservation page!

AI Coding Workshop at AmiWest 2026 update:

Join us Sunday morning at AmiWest 2026 to take a deep dive into AI coding for the Amiga Computer. This session aims to help AmiWest attendees and folks watching around the world leverage AI tools to create for their favorite platform.

To get the most out of this session, please bring a laptop (Linux, Mac, or Windows), a virtualized version of your favorite Amiga platform, an AI service or a local LLM, and your ideas. The workshop will focus on getting everyone set up with an AI-powered development environment. Don’t worry; if you are not able to get everything set up beforehand, we will help folks get the entire environment going.

The workshop will be hosted by three people: Chris Collins, Stefan Reinauer, and Bill Borsari. Chris is a professional developer and has built several tools for both OS 3 and OS 4, including DevBench. Stefan is also a professional developer who has built the ReScsi 4091/4092, and a number of tools, including the new ODFileSystem. Bill is a long-time Amiga fan who dabbled in Amiga programming but has used AI to build several applications, including porting ZuneFig to OS 4.

The entry to the show floor for seminars and exhibits is free. The banquet, at Burger and Brews, requires a ticket. While you're getting your banquet ticket, don't forget to reserve your room!

 AmiWest 2026
October 24th and 25th
Sacramento, CA

In a few short HOURS, the Amiga faithful will once again gather in Sacramento to celebrate the Amiga Computer and its community.

AmiWest is the premier Amiga event in North America, featuring speakers, demonstrators, and exhibitors covering all flavors of Amiga systems like NG and classic systems. For 2026, we planned our attendees' favorite activities, the exhibit floor, seminars, the Saturday lunch presentation, and the live stream.

For the world-famous AmiWest banquet, we are heading back to Burgers and Brews. We are working to ensure it will be the best AmiWest banquet possible.

AI is all over the news and raging through the tech world. Why should the Amiga be left out? Sunday morning, bring your laptops and get ready to code. We will host an AI coding workshop to equip attendees with the latest tools and techniques for generating code for Amiga systems using AI. Use WinUAE and QEMU, along with prompts, to build and test tools and GUIs quickly.

So remember, its time for your annual pilgrimage to Sacramento for Amiga fun!
