Miss 1200 FPGA MiST clone board
« on: March 03, 2026, 08:39:15 PM »
Anyone else got one of these?

Looking for a bit of assistance. Unfortunately Daniel from 8bitsforever isn't able to help me so throwing this out to the community.

I am basically trying to get access to the exposed UART rx/tx pins to use with my SLIP modified ESP2866 board.

This works perfectly on my Amiberry setup but I cannot get it working on this Miss 1200 board.

Yes I've got one! However, I don't know what these pins are or what you're trying to do with them. I thought I should reply to bring more attention to this board, though. As I bought it from eBay, instead of from 8bits4eva, they told me I wasn't entitled to any support, even after I offered to pay, though.

I bought the board pre mounted, installed in an A1200 case. It has two USB ports outside the case, but there are two others inside the case which I can't access.

It came with a Micro SD/TF card with the Minimig Core preinstalled, configured as a very fast A1200. Unfortunately, it only has Workbench 3 installed, so I want to upgrade this, as well as installing the RTG drivers.

I've been using it mainly to create artwork using DPaint V. I've recently bought a Wacom Bamboo Pen CTL-460 tablet which is compatible with it. It's recognised as a mouse and doesn't require a driver.

No, but I have MiST (and Minimig, MiSTer, FleaFPGA and more) where I use the rx/tx pins for connectivity.

You don't say much about what the problem actually is or what you have tried.

Which TCP stack are you using? How have you set up the connection?
Have you tried communicating with the ESP2866 directly using a terminal emulator?
