A1200G on a Checkmate 1500 Plus case?
« on: January 23, 2026, 02:11:06 PM »
Just as the title suggests, has anyone tried to put these two together and if so what barriers and problems have you faced and what workarounds have you found?
I've just ordered both so, trying to understand what I'm up against  ;D

Thank you in advance!

I did when Steve sent us Checkmark case. Fitted fine like an A1200 would.
Not sure on barriers, as it will work exactly like an A1200.

'm concerned about the power supply since its different from a standard Amiga 1200, and I think the A1200NG comes with a power brick which I'd rather have an SFX power supply...

The other question is around the on/off button on the case - which in a way is also related to the above.

The adapter you showed me, should work AS LONG as polarity is correct.

Remember before plugging in, make sure center pin matches center pin on adatper. Same for outer. As you may have to swap wires around.
Only other issue, could be size of plug on adapter. Fingers crossed.
