Does anyone know whether the cycle counts for the NXP 68000 differ from those of the original Motorola 68000?
Whilst the current NXP manual appears to list different times for byte and word-size instructions, older sources tend to list them as equal.
TBH, few online sources agree 100%, and the NXP manual has just added yet another layout of complexity.
As I'm slowly losing my mind, any advice would be gratefully received.
